It was a beautiful morning to make another visit to Sedona.
Our plan was to make the Upper and Lower Mesa Loops.
The mountains were hazy in the distance, probably from all the dust that had been stirred up by the winds from the previous days.
The views were still nice.
As we drove through Sedona, a line of cars was snaking its way through town. Most of them were going the other way, so we made it quickly through.
We arrived at the trail we had decided to hike.
Off we went, following the trail as it wound up and around.
As we climbed higher, we caught another glimpse of the red mountains.
The views just got better and better.
We stopped at the top to take our picture. Luckily there was a rock edge that made a great tripod.
We sat on the top for awhile admiring the peacefulness and view.
