We got back just in time for the Bluebonnets!
We stayed five nights at the Thousand Trails in Columbus, Texas. There were fields of flowers in many places,
and deer roaming through the preserve.
While we were there, we enjoyed a couple of evenings of catching up with Greg and Jan who we last saw in Las Vegas and meeting new friends Gregg and Lynette.
After our time in Columbus, we headed to Kyle outside of Austin to RV Land for service on our fifth wheel. On our way, there were more gorgeous fields of Bluebonnets
and the Indian Paintbrush were out in full force too.
Matt, our service technician, was able to repair our fifth wheel leak in 2 days instead of the 3 weeks we were told it might be from the technician in Florida. He even was able to get our extended warranty company to cover everything but the deductible. We sure are glad we waited until we returned here for the repairs.
While the fifth wheel was being repaired, we stayed one night each at our kids' homes. Friday and Saturday were sleepovers with the granddaughters and catching up with family.
We also were able to see our niece, Shannon, perform with her band in Gruene on Friday and Saturday.
We moved to McKinney Falls State Park today and will be here for a few days until we move over to San Antonio for a month. We are looking forward to catching up with more family and friends!
Glad you are back in Texas. The wildflowers are beautiful!
